I found this book very useful for those who are searching for the real essence of philosophy. You will find here, most of the prominent theories of western scholars which are compared and weighed with eastern wisdom. Seiving the thoughts from Hegel to Schopenhauer; Spencer to Russell, Krishnaswamy Iyer, an ardent advocate of Shankara, brings out his insight and scholarship. The writing of ಪರಮಾರ್ಥ ಚಿಂತಾಮಣಿ, the magnamopus of Sachchidanandendra Saraswati was inspired by this book.
